Christian Voice is a ministry for those Christians who are fed up with the way things are, who have had enough of secularist politicians imposing wickedness on the rest of us and who are not satisfied with trying to get ‘Christian influence in a secular world’ because they know ‘The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein’ (Psalm 24:1). If you want instead to lift high the Crown Rights of the King of kings, you have found the right place!
Christian Voice is a prophetic ministry in the ‘forthtelling sense’. We attempt, with God's grace, to analyse current events in the light of scripture, proclaim God's word to those in public life and provide the information Christians need in order to pray with the mind of God and witness in these dark days. We are not ‘conservative’. We don’t want to conserve this present darkness. Yes, we may have to ‘Hold the Fort’, but we are looking to take the battle to the Lord’s enemies. We are radical, urging repentance, a better way, God’s way.
Although we still pray ‘Lord, DO something,’ our members have found it’s when we pray, ‘Lord what can we do?’ that the Lord shows us a few simple things we can do for Him. And when we do what we can do, God does what only He can do – miracles, the clever stuff, the unexpected!
So Christian Voice is a seeking-the-Lord ministry, an active ministry, where we are always looking for something to do for Him. And that’s not just letter-writing and emails to targeted people in public life, it’s protesting at a godless event, or leafleting on the streets, or creative witnessing of some other kind! And it works, or rather, God works, judging by the success he grants us, of His grace, and to His glory.
In an age when oestrogen is overwhelming the church, this is Christianity with testosterone. The Lamb of God was the worthy sacrifice by whom we are saved, but we are saved to serve the Lion of Judah! And by God’s grace we shall!
We love God and the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we love our fellow man and grieve for those afflicted by the injustice which successive governments have enacted. And if we are not called to do something about it, we are failing in our prophetic duty.
We pray for the
United Kingdom
to repent and turn back to God and his ways. There is no salvation in messianic politicians or bureaucratic superstates. The only hope for our dysfunctional nation lies in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ - and His righteousness.
